  • Senator Linda Gray (R) D-18
      • Represents Arizona as a member of the National Foundation of Women Legislators, an organization that has Scientologists on it's board.  In 2006 she introduced a Scientology bill that was distributed at the NFWL's annual convention as "model legislation".  Asked about this bill by Arizona Republic reported Amanda Crawford Gray admitted the bill was "pretty much" drafted by the Scientologists.
      • On March 14, 2006, in defense of her trip to Hollywood in August of 2005 to attend the Scientology Celebrity Center Anniversary Gala she stated she had gone to California to look at a phonics program.  The program called "Applied Scholastics" was created by Scientology founder, L. Ron Hubbard.
  • Representative Cheryl Chase (R) D-23
      • Represents Arizona as a member of the National Foundation of Women Legislators, an organization that has Scientologists on it's board. 
      • As a member of the Democratic Party, prior to 2002, Ms. Chase voted against all Scientology bills.
  • Representative Russ Jones (R) D-4
      • In the two years he has been in the state legislature, Mr. Jones has supported all the Scientology bills.
  • Senator Carolyn Allen (R) D-7
      • In August 2005 attended the Scientology Celebrity Center Anniversary Gala and on March 13, 2006 in the Senate Health Committee she defended her trip by stating "I am not a Scientologist, but I agree with their philosophy on medications."
      • Ms. Allen chairs the Senate Health Committee which guarantees all Scientology bills assigned to her committee not only get a hearing but also pass.
  • Senator Karen Johnson (R) D-18
      • In August of 2005 attended the Scientology Celebrity Center Anniversary Gala.
      • Is a member of the Advisory Board of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights, founded and funded by the Church of Scientology to promote their anti-psychiatry mission.  They are registered with the Arizona Secretary of State's office as lobbyist.
  • Russell Pearce (R) D-18
      • In August of 2005 attended the Scientology Celebrity Center Anniversary Gala.
      • Traveled to Mexico to tour a prison which employs a Scientology drug and detox program consisting of sweat lodges and massive doses of vitamins that have been proven to cause liver damage.
        • Supported legislation that would have mandated this type of program be incorporated into Arizona's prison system.
  • Representative Mark Anderson (R) D-18
      • Traveled to Mexico to tour a prison which employs a Scientology drug and detox program consisting of sweat lodges and massive doses of vitamins that have proven to cause liver damage.
        • Introduced an amendment to legislation that would have mandated this type of program be incorporated into Arizona's prison system.
  • Representative Russ Jones (R) D-24
      • Immediately jumped on the Scientology bandwagon upon being elected.  Supported Scientology bills both years of his first term.
