SCIENTOLOGY FACTS- Did You Know...The founder of the Church of Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard made his living writing science fiction novels.
- Did You Know...Scientologists believe that 75 million years ago an evil galactic warlord named Xenu banished trillions of beings to earth, placed them in volcanoes and blew them up. Their scattered souls were then caught in electromagnetic traps in the atmosphere and implanted with false ideas including the belief in God, Christ and organized religion. These entities called "thetans" attached themselves to humans where they remain to this day creating the root of all physical and emotional problems.
- Did You Know...Scientologists do not believe that mental illness exists. They believe that people today are manifestations of these early "thetans" who have been reincarnated throughout the eons resulting in psychic scars called "engrams" and these "engrams" can only be removed by a process they call auditing, which they charge thousands of dollars for.
- Did You Know...Experts in science and human behavior call this auditing process brainwashing.
Mental Health Matters PAC, does not seek to question the validity or pass judgement about the theology of the Church of Scientology except where it pertains to mental illness. We do seek to inform Arizona Constituents and prevent the ideology of the Church of Scientology from being forced on others through legislation. |
